Welcome to the U.S. Bankruptcy Administrator for the Middle District of Alabama

Our Mission:  The mission of the U. S. Bankruptcy Administrator’s Office, MDAL, is to promote integrity and efficiency in the existing bankruptcy system by enforcing bankruptcy laws, providing oversight of private trustees and professionals, and maintaining operational excellence.

Video Conferencing for all Meeting of Creditors: Due to the public health crisis related to COVID-19, the U.S. Bankruptcy Administrator for the Middle District of Alabama is implementing temporary policies and procedures with respect to all §341 Meeting of Creditors. All §341 Meeting of Creditors will be conducted via video conference using Zoom for Government. Additional information and resources can be found here.
